June is upon us! Hard to believe, eh? It only seemed fitting that since May’s box was all about Margaritas and Mothers that we make the June box for the Father’s out there (or even the father figures).
Thinking about fathers and grandfathers brought images of cigars and scotch to mind for some reason. However, since my box is aimed at women, I wanted some less “scotchy” cocktails in it.
Therefore, I did some research. I happened upon two interesting cocktails that sounded yummy to me- She’s No Gentleman and Mamie Taylor. So they made the cut and went into the box for June. The third cocktail is simple and classic- a scotch and soda.
For the Paint and Sip, I went with the old standby- a rainbow trout. It should be fun to paint! And you can keep it or give it away- your choice.
The Movie Box for June is one of my personal favorite movies- “The Goonies.” I love that crazy bunch of misfits and honestly, I wanted to do something fun and that so many people love.
